The Tube & The British Museum

Other than Kim getting her suitcase stuck in the little gate as you enter the Tube platform, we made it out of the airport uneventfully. Picture flashes were snapping everywhere. Say cheese! I’m tired and feel cramped in the little bus, but the plants and pretty brick buildings are gorgeous. There’s a ton of graffiti, though! We’re on our way to St.Pancras… Whee on the Piccadilly Line!

Ok, so we checked in at the hostel. Everything is so quaint and narrow! Es, Kim, and I are in a room with Mrs. Frisk. Two bunk beds… hooray! We then went to the British Museum. I can’t even comprehend how old everything is! We all took many pictures of ancient Babylonian carvings, Egyptian sarcophagi, and Greek statues. Bible stories and history books seemed to come to life! Next, we stopped at Starbucks and came back to the hostel for dinner. I got a tasty spinach and goat’s cheese puff. I was more adventurous than some of the others who got the delicious traditional fish and chips! Today held so much fun and sleepiness. It’s devotion and review time with Mr. Lugg! Goodnight!

Sharing Thoughts:
Attention to detail/quality
Beautiful architecture & care
Nations known by their passions i.e. Babylon- war, Greece- man
Amazing constructions in remembrance
Long-lasting nature of historical artifacts
Everything we see = God building the church

So cool Natalie. I'm glad you guys had a great time. Travelling is really good. You can learn so much more by being somewhere than by just hearing about it.
